There has been reporting a lot of killings and acts of brutality by Tunisian security forces. They have been shooting bystanders and protesters who did not do anything to them to threat their lives. As the days go by, more and more victims are killed by the security forces. It is referred to as the "Jasmine Revolution." “The security forces acted with reckless disregard for human life in all too many cases,” said Malcolm Smart, Director of Amnesty. The revolt has led into a violent crackdown.
In Egypt, they are going through one of the "most volatile moments of its history." The people have to face their president Hosni Mubarak insecurity reigns. There has been protesting on their governments, high levels of corruption, and poverty. The protesters demand that that he responds to the establishment of a minimum wage, dissolving a parliament that many here view as fraudulently elected, and lifting the country's draconian emergency laws. There has been 50,000 protesters hoping that Mubarak will liberate.
